Tuvia Marmarelli, Founder & Chairman
Tuvia held a variety of senior executive positions at Comverse (NASDAQ:CMVT) and Magic (NASDAQ:MGIC) as well as initiated Backup Technologies and served as the founding chairman of the Israeli Hitech Organization. In his last position at Comverse he served as Vice President and General Manager of Comverse business in East Europe. Prior to that, he served as Vice President - Global Emerging Markets for the BSS division as well as the Regional VP for South East Asia and Central Europe. Formerly, at Magic, as VP Distribution Channels from Paris, he had built and grown the distribution channells in Europe and the Far east, cultivating a large VARs community of over 500 software houses. As an entrepreneur in soul he founded in the 90's Backup Technologies which was later on sold to IBM. Together with his son Tom, he founded NetMe to invest in new internet ventures and provide business consulting. Mr. Marmarelli, holds a degree in Business Administartion, from Bar Ilan University and is a MAMRAM's graduate.
Howard Woolf
A veteran in the Hi Tech arena, Howard is the founder and Managing Partner at Howard Woolf Associates, LLC.
Howard, was formerly the President of Comverse Global Services and the Converged Billing divisions, the CEO of Odigo (which was acquired by Comverse), President Americas of Intel Corporation, Dialogic Division, Director of sales & marketing at Compaq/DEC, and held manufacturing management position at General Electric Corporation. With such Consistent track record of performance and broad industry background and connections in the Hi Tech industry, Howard is now focusing on top level consulting to companies managements. He specialize in organizational change and management development, Scaling businesses from very small to very large, product development and functional excellence in sales & marketing as well as Manufacturing, Deployment and Professional Services.
Chris Bannister
A veteran Telco senior executive with a passion for challenges and adventures of launching startrups or "fixing" problematic ones. He builds organizations from "scratch" to multi million $ operations. As such Chris launched Hutchison Scandinavia and became "3" Sweden's CEO for few years from its inception, he than became the 2nd employee of Play Poland, and launched their successfull operation, as CEO, and grew the business to have 5 M subscribers within 3 years in a very competitive market. Now he nears completion of "assisting" Multilinks Nigeria as special advisor to CEO. Before "3" Chris had long time carreer as business executive directing Motorola's service providers division, leading Cable & Wireless marketing & sales for One 2 One, heading new market operations in Asia including Singapore's M1, and Vietnam operations. Later at Swisscom Malyasia - he headed marketing and sales for few years, and than brought to NTL mobile where he built the organization from scratch. A very energetic executive, well connected, and "guru" of the industry.
Dror Pockard
Dror Pockard is a senior executive with extensive international experience in building and leading start-up and large global operations and companies. With core expertise is in strategy, business development, M&A, sales and marketing and in building professional global operations organizations. With over 25 years of experience as and executive and consultant in the areas of enterprise software, Internet, telecom, CRM, and retail, Dror headed Amdoc's SI organization, and was Group President of the CRM & Offering Groups. After that Dror served as CEO of Telrad and as CEO of eglue Business Technologies which was sold to Nice Systems in March 2010. Dror consults to both start-ups and large companies as well as to various VCs. He also served as a venture partner in a leading VC in Israel, as well as established the Israeli office of Ernst & Young Management Consultants and managed their local office for 3 years. Mr. Pockard holds an MBA in Information Systems and a BA in Management and Economics from Tel Aviv University, in Tel Aviv, Israel. He's a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and is on the board of several charities including the Management College (Academic Studies), the Branco Weiss Institute and Yuvalim.
Mankad Pushpendra
After retiring from his Comverse Asia, Senior VP position, Mankad acts as independent Consultant, Advisor & an Angel Investor. Prior to his 9 years tenure at Comverse Mankad managed Telstra International’s business including Investments/Disinvestment, Preserving & Protecting Stakeholder interest and P&L for Telstra joint ventures in India. He was also nominated as CEO of Telstra’s Joint Venture in India. Formerly, as Executive Director for Marketing and Sales of Indian Telephone Industry (ITI Ltd), he managed switching, transmission and access equipment business worth $ 600 million. In his 40 years of experience Mankad worked in senior positions of Marketing, Sales & Corporate planning with many companies in the field of Semiconductors, Electronics and Telecommunication. He carries a Master’s Degree in Electronics & Communication from Bombay University and Executive MBA from Creative Executive School of Management. Mankad took over as Honorary Ambassador to India for Israel Mobile Association in June 2011.
